About Me

My name is Callie and I am mother to the sweetest and most incredible little girl I could have ever dreamed of! We live in beautiful Granbury, TX. Charlotte is my reason for everything. Being her mom is truly the greatest gift and best job I have!

I love horses, history, and to travel. Exploring new places near and far has always been a passion of mine. I spend my days balancing life between raising my daughter, my full-time corporate position, contract marketing consultant work, and creating the art you'll see on this site.

I have been a full time Geotechnical Proposal Coordinator for a large corporation based out of the Netherlands over 6 years now. I count my blessings for the ability to work from home for all of my jobs and the flexible lifestyle that luxury creates!

I grew up in the gorgeous state of Virginia on a horse property. My childhood bedroom overlooked the horse pasture, a dream! My mom is a professional artist-- she focused on pen and ink renderings for home builders in her early career and now she mainly paints plein air landscape scenes in retirement. My dad was a teaching golf professional in Virginia for over 30 years and now he spends his "retirement" teaching lessons part-time!

Growing up I spent my summers playing golf, horse showing, and roaming around the cross-country trails on our property horseback until it was too dark to see.

Winters were also spent horseback as my family and I were avid foxhunters. Every weekend from fall through early spring we trailered out to different properties (mostly Virginia vineyards/wineries) and followed the hounds across the countryside.

After graduating high-school I attended Texas Christian University (TCU), following in my mom's footsteps! I recieved my degree in Geoscience and have been a Texas resident ever since. During college I reached out to TCU's polo club to get involved. Those connections led me back to foxhunting, but this time within Texas. I've gained some of the greatest people I am fortunate to call friends through horses!

Throughout college I proceeded to foxhunt outside Fort Worth, TX with Brazos Valley Hounds and then I joined Independence Foxhounds in Cat Spring, TX post college when I moved south for a position with an oil and gas company in Austin.

A chapter of my life in recent years was spent on a ranch in Bluff Dale, TX! During those years I created countless logos and graphics for the family's different businesses, in a sense combining my career in technology with my love of art! The marketing aspect of my contribution to the ranch was extremely rewarding and fun for me.

Life is full of twists and turns, and since moving from Bluff Dale, I’ve been working tirelessly toward a big goal—building something incredible for my daughter and me. My passion for horses, nature, and art runs deep, and I plan to devote more time to painting and creating in the near future, with hopes of turning art and design into a profitable side business.
